One by my old prof: Richard S. Hess in the Tyndale Old Testament Commentary series Hes is really strong on Israelite and Ancient Near Eastern history.
You might also take a look at: D. M. Howard, Jr. in the New American Commentary series He is helpful at pointing out theological themes in the book.

Haven't read any exegetical commentaries on Joshua. I liked Wiersbe's Expository Outlines of the OT and would recommend any of his BE SERIES commentaries for pastors, to help them put some "cookies on the lower shelf" when preaching through any book.
