I am writing curriculum for a startup Bible College. Need ideas for new Textbook options. Thanks!
Also, for Evangelism/Christian Living course (or spiritual formation).
Remember-college freshman level, current materials. I have plenty of sophisticated, dated good stuff:)
Thanks!!

I can do some thinking about specific recommendations, though I am teaching more on the Grad level now... and I think sometimes the older books are still better than some of the new stuff with post-modern flavoring... like avoiding warnings about hell in evangelism and being more "kingdom" focused supposedly.
But I would recommend that as a new college you consider who your sister colleges are... and try to reflect their curriculum and textbooks are as much as possible, for you will have transfers of students in both directions and the acceptance of credits from each other will be that much easier if the curriculum is similar. For new courses that I put together I try to get a copy of syllabi from like colleges, for that very reason, and also to spur my thinking.
Then with some of those text suggestions, I go to Amazon and see what similar texts they recommend as well as looking at the TOC and reviews of various books.
